In one of the largest commercial leasing deals negotiated in 2019, International Cinema operator JCGV has leased an entire floor at The Kantharyar Centre from Asia Myanmar Shining Star (AMSS).

JCGV has leased over 2000m² for an initial lease term of 10 Years with options. The deal was negotiated by Slade Property Services represented by Agency Director Fred Hassim and Senior Manager Yin Myat Thwe.

Fred Commented that  “JCGV intended to make a cultural Mecca at The Kantharyar Shopping Mall in Yangon by introducing state of the art technology and incorporating premium image design consulted by No. 1 global cinema company CGV "

“This will be an entirely different movie experience," he added "The Kantharyar Centre, which has recently been completed, overlooks Kandawgyi Lake and consists of a Grade A  22 story office tower, a 5 star Hotel by Wyndham Grand, a quality serviced apartment tower and a lifestyle retail podium.

Fred added “the office tower has attracted a number of high caliber international tenants who are drawn to the building due to its high levels of safety and security, the quality construction and the very competitive leasing packages on offer”
