Colliers International Myanmar has recently announced the on boarding of their new Head of Property Management, Mr. Ariel Vitor effective last May 1, 2019.
Handling more than 70,000 sq m of various commercial and residential properties under Colliers International Philippines, Ariel steps into his new role with close to 23 years of professional experience with heavy concentration on automotive electrical engineering, materials engineering, systems engineering, and project planning and management.
Ariel started his career in 1996 for Lear Corporation- Philippine Engineering and Technology Center, a global automotive company listed in Forbes Fortune Global 500. He stayed with the company for 19 years and eventually which made him Systems Engineer- Wiring Systems Engineering. During his time in PETC-LEAR he has taken several managerial and technical roles in quality control, program coordination, project planning and implementation.
Mr. Vitor joined Colliers Philippines in August 2015 as a Property Manager specializing in operations management, equipment management, financial/ budget management, staff management, and supplier and contract management. With substantial years of experience in the management of multiple real estate accounts, budget, equipment, staff, supplier, contractor and operation with various landlords and developers while in Philippines office. Due to his outstanding performances, Ariel was promoted to a Senior Management role in 2018.
With Colliers International Myanmar, Ariel is expected to bring the much-needed expertise and knowledge about property management to the market. When asked on what he would like to see changed in the industry in the next two years, Ariel said: “We aim to see a more informed property market that acknowledges that property management is a must have rather than just a good to have. Colliers believes that this is a crucial step to making international standards a norm in the country.”
